Welcome to Watch360. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Watch360, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
We may modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of Watch360 after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
Watch360 is a mobile application designed to help users:
- Share Real-time Location: Display your current position on a map visible to your connected friends
- Connect with Friends: Add friends using unique connection codes
- View Friends' Locations: See where your connected friends are on the map
- Track Location History: Review your travel routes and journeys from the past 3 days
- Coordinate Meetups: Easily find and meet up with friends and family
3. Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
To use Watch360, you must create an account using one of the following sign-in methods:
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
4. User Responsibilities
When using Watch360, you agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Respect the privacy of other users
- Not share your friend connection code with unauthorized individuals
- Not use location data for stalking, harassment, or any harmful purposes
- Not attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- Not use the app in any way that could damage or overburden our servers
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Using Watch360 to track, stalk, or harass individuals without their consent is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
5. Location Sharing Rules
Consent-Based Sharing
Watch360 operates on a consent-based model:
- You must explicitly connect with another user to share locations
- Both parties must agree to the connection
- Either party can disconnect at any time
- Disconnecting immediately stops location sharing between users
Your Control
You maintain full control over your location sharing:
- You can pause or stop location sharing at any time
- You can disconnect from any friend connection
- You can revoke location permissions in your device settings
- You can delete your account and all associated data
Only connect with people you know and trust. Your location is sensitive information, and sharing it should be a conscious decision.
6. Location Data and Battery Usage
By using Watch360, you understand and acknowledge that:
- The app requires continuous access to your device's GPS
- Background location access may increase battery consumption
- Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS capabilities and environmental factors
- Location updates may be delayed in areas with poor network connectivity
Continuous GPS usage may significantly impact your device's battery life. Watch360 is optimized to minimize battery drain, but we recommend monitoring your battery usage and adjusting settings as needed.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Watch360, including but not limited to:
- Application design and user interface
- Logos, icons, and branding
- Source code and software
- Documentation and text
are owned by Mobover and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
Watch360 integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google Maps: For map display and navigation
- Google Sign-In: For authentication
- Sign in with Apple: For authentication
- Firebase: For backend services
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Watch360 is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Location data will be 100% accurate at all times
- The service will meet your specific requirements
- All bugs or errors will be corrected
Watch360 is designed as a convenience tool for staying connected with friends and family. It should not be relied upon as a primary safety or emergency tracking system. In emergencies, always contact local emergency services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobover and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the app
- Any actions taken by users based on location information
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Service interruptions or technical failures
Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mobover and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of Watch360
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit or share through the app
12. Termination
By You
You may stop using Watch360 and delete your account at any time by:
- Using the account deletion feature in the app
- Contacting us at support@mobover.com
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to Watch360 at any time, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms of Use
- We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
- We discontinue the service
Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the app.
Your continued use of Watch360 after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Watch360 shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mobover regarding your use of Watch360 and supersede any prior agreements.
